The Mini-Blueprint is a series of questions that will help you get clear on what your book is really about, why it matters, and where it’s headed.

Most writers rush into writing without pausing to think through the big picture—and the Mini-Blueprint changes that. The questions will spark reflection, focus your ideas, and bring your “why” to the surface. I, as a certified book coach trained in the Blueprint, will review your Blueprint and offer insight on your project’s potential.

It’s simple, it’s powerful, and it just might be the clarity you’ve been missing.

I’ll read the first ten pages of your book, short story, or essay and get an idea of your voice; your writing strengths; areas where you might go deeper with character, plot, or point; and challenges that might slow your writing down or make it unclear for readers.

I’ll use Track Changes in Word to give you specific in-manuscript feedback and will send you an editorial letter with my thoughts.

How often do you get to talk about your story in depth with someone who gets the writing process? With someone who takes you seriously as a writer, does not get bored listening to you, and is committed to your success?

We’ll have a 60-ish-minute strategy session via Zoom, where we will go over your Blueprint, 10 pages, and my editorial letter. We’ll unpack your ideas, identify what’s working (and what’s not), and shape a concrete plan to move your project forward with purpose and momentum.

You’ll have the chance to ask me questions so you leave the session feeling more confident in your story idea, your writing voice, and your writing skills.
